Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.nomahomepros.com (the "Site") and the handyman, home repair, and maintenance services (the "Services") provided by Noma Home Pros ("we," "us," or "our"), a home services company operating in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois area. By accessing our Site or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Site or Services.

Services Overview

Noma Home Pros provides handyman, home repair, maintenance, and installation services to residential and commercial properties in the Champaign-Urbana metropolitan area, including Champaign, Urbana, Savoy, Mahomet, St. Joseph, Tolono, Philo, Sidney, Homer, and Ogden, Illinois. Our services are subject to availability and scheduling.

Service Plans and Pricing

We offer several service options including:

• Membership ($50/month): Includes annual smoke detector battery changes, 4 furnace filter changes per year, 10% off all services, priority booking, and annual water heater flushing. Available prepaid annually at $500.
• Monthly Subscription ($99/month): Includes 10 annual maintenance visits with a dedicated handyman. Prepaid annually at $1,188 or $150/month billed monthly.
• Half-Day Package ($599): 4 hours of dedicated handyman labor.
• Full-Day Package ($999): 8 hours of dedicated handyman labor.
• Custom Projects: Specialty and one-off jobs quoted on an as-needed basis with a free on-site estimate.

All prices are subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers or members of any price changes in advance. Materials required for services are billed separately.

Booking and Scheduling

Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates and times. Subscription members and membership holders receive priority scheduling. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible for any rescheduled appointments.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Appointment Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Subscription Cancellations: Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Prepaid annual subscriptions include a 30-day refund policy from the date of purchase. After 30 days, remaining months may be prorated at our discretion.
• Membership Cancellations: Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time. Prepaid annual memberships include a 30-day refund policy from the date of purchase.
• Package Refunds: Half-day and full-day packages are non-refundable once work has begun. If cancelled before the scheduled date with at least 48 hours notice, a full refund will be provided.

Payment Terms

Payment is due as agreed upon at the time of booking or as outlined in your subscription or membership agreement. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of service. For custom projects, payment terms will be outlined in the written quote provided before work begins. Overdue payments may be subject to late fees and suspension of services.

Scope of Work

The scope of work for each service will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. Any changes to the scope of work during a service visit must be agreed upon by both parties. Additional work beyond the original scope may result in additional charges, which will be communicated and approved by you before proceeding. We reserve the right to decline work that is outside our expertise, requires specialized licensing we do not hold, or that we determine to be unsafe.

Warranty and Workmanship

We stand behind our work. Noma Home Pros provides a workmanship warranty on all services performed. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 30 days of the completed service and we will make it right. This warranty covers the labor and craftsmanship of our work but does not cover materials that were provided by the homeowner, normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or issues caused by pre-existing conditions not related to our work.

Liability Limitations

Noma Home Pros is licensed and insured. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage discovered during repairs, or issues caused by third parties, defective materials not supplied by us, or acts of nature.

Property Access and Preparation

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be performed. You are responsible for clearing the work area of personal belongings and valuables prior to our arrival. You represent that you have the authority to authorize the work being performed on the property. If pets are present, please ensure they are secured during service visits for the safety of our team and your pets.

Use of the Website

You agree to use our Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others. You may not use our Site to transmit harmful, threatening, or offensive content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Site. All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Noma Home Pros and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Noma Home Pros, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved in the courts of Champaign County, Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Site or Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
